Jamaican legend Roy Panton aka The Mighty Ruler joins me on this episode of GO FEET! Radio for the first of a two-part series. From Toronto, Canada, where he and his wife, Yvonne Harrison of ‘Roy and Yvonne‘, have made their home since Roy left Jamaica in 1972. Roy was one of the first in Jamaican to be recorded as a singing duo and he tells all about this time. He tells of experiences with revered Jamaican producers and how he was present when Jamaican music evolved from Bluebeat to Ska to Rocksteady. Get your ears around this, kick of your work shoes and get ready to shuffle your feet. This is GO FEET! Radio. Enjoy!
