In last month’s episode of the show, we marked the 50 years since the Spirit Of ‘69, with a full hour of boss reggae. This month, we wanted to mark the other big remembrance from this year: the 40th anniversary of the founding of 2-Tone! Not only did these bands help to bring ska music back into the popular musical culture, but they helped to spread the sound to the rest of the globe. For the first half of this episode, we’ve got tunes by some of the bigger bands that were on the forefront of the 2-Tone movement. The latter half is dedicated to the bands that kept this sound going through the remainder of the ‘80s and beyond!
